About Me.

Diana Hiebeler, OTR

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Diana is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a distinguished career in pediatrics spanning over four decades. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Ohio State University and a Master of Arts with a Specialty in Developmental Disabilities from New York University.

Diana's extensive experience in pediatrics reflects her deep passion for working with children and their families. Most recently, she served in Leander ISD, where her role encompassed evaluating students, consulting with staff and families, providing treatment, and collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Her professional journey includes work in two private clinics — the Children’s Evaluation and Therapy Center and Capital Therapy Group — as well as contracting with several school districts across central Texas, including Del Valle, Bastrop, Pflugerville, Hays Consolidated, and Marble Falls. Additionally, Diana has contributed to early childhood intervention (ECI) programs, such as The PRIDE Program, initially through Travis State School and later under Bluebonnet Trails Community Services in Williamson County and the Austin Travis County Health Department.

Diana has a particular fondness for her work in ECI programs, where she not only supported children but also partnered closely with their families. This collaborative approach helped extend the benefits of therapy into the children’s daily routines, making a lasting impact on their development.

Beyond her professional life, Diana enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She is an active volunteer at her local library and food pantry. In her free time, she loves to read, knit, and has recently rekindled her interest in playing the piano.
