EXCEPTIONAL CHILD 360
How Can I Help?
Whether you're navigating school concerns, challenging behavior, or simply trying to understand what your child needs, I'll help you make sense of what's happening and create a clear plan for moving forward.

Special Education Advocacy & School Support
Not sure whether your child's school plan is actually meeting their needs?
IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, eligibility decisions and school meetings can quickly become overwhelming. I help you understand your child's records and your rights, identify what's missing or needs to change, and determine what to ask for next.
Support may include:
-
IEP and 504 review and recommendations
-
Evaluation and test-result interpretation
-
Meeting preparation and participation
-
Help drafting parent concerns, requests and school communications
-
Special education rights and dispute-resolution guidance
-
Ongoing advocacy and strategy
The goal: You'll understand your options and feel prepared to advocate confidently for what your child needs.

Behavioral Consultation & Parent Coaching
When nothing you try seems to be working, the first step is understanding why the behavior is happening.
Whether you're dealing with meltdowns, defiance, aggression, difficult transitions, screen-time battles, anxiety-driven behavior or everyday power struggles, I'll help you identify what's driving the behavior and develop practical strategies that fit your child and family.
Support may include:
-
Identifying triggers and patterns
-
Functional behavior assessment
-
Individualized behavior strategies and plans
-
Parent coaching and caregiver training
-
Routines, expectations and reinforcement systems
-
Regulation and coping strategies
-
Ongoing support as you put strategies into practice
The goal: You'll understand your child's behavior and have a realistic plan for what to do differently.

Child Skill-Building
Some kids need more than reminders to “calm down,” “make good choices,” or “be a good friend.” They need to be explicitly taught the skills we expect them to use.
I provide individualized virtual coaching for children and teens using a research-based curriculum designed to make social-emotional and executive functioning skills concrete and practical. Sessions incorporate video modeling, structured discussion, real-life examples, interactive practice activities, and role-play to help children understand new skills and practice how to use them in everyday situations.
Areas of support may include:
-
Emotional regulation and coping skills
-
Executive functioning and organization
-
Social skills and friendship
-
Flexibility and problem-solving
-
Conversation and communication skills
-
Digital citizenship, online safety, and healthy technology use
-
Navigating texting, group chats, social media, and online relationships
-
Self-advocacy and decision-making
-
Independence and everyday life skills
Sessions are tailored to your child's age, needs, and real-life challenges, with opportunities to practice skills between sessions and apply what they're learning at home, at school, and with peers.
The goal: Your child won't just be told what they should do differently. They'll be explicitly taught how to do it.

Child Development & Evaluation Consultation
Have a diagnosis or evaluation report but still aren't sure what it actually means for your child?
Parents often receive pages of test scores, diagnoses and recommendations without a clear understanding of what to do with them. I help connect the dots between your child's learning, behavior, development and everyday functioning so you can make informed decisions about what support comes next.
I can help with:
-
Understanding psychological and educational evaluations
-
Making sense of test scores and diagnoses
-
ADHD, autism, learning and developmental concerns
-
Identifying strengths and areas of need
-
Determining appropriate accommodations, interventions or services
-
Deciding what type of professional or evaluation may be needed next
The goal: You'll leave with a clearer understanding of your child and practical next steps rather than another stack of information.
Not sure where to start?
You don't need to know which service you need before reaching out. Tell me what's going on, and I'll help you determine the best next step.
